Our charity of the year
Proactive has chosen Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) as its 2018/19 charity of the year.
CCLG is a leading national charity and expert voice for all childhood cancers.
Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer. CCLG’s network of dedicated professional members works together to discover treatment, care and research that helps shape a future where all children and young people with cancer survive and live happy, healthy and independent lives.
CCLG fund and support innovative world-class research and collaborate, both nationally and internationally, to drive forward improvements in childhood cancer. Their award-winning information resources help lessen the anxiety, stress and loneliness often felt by families at such a difficult time, and they give them support throughout the cancer journey.
Proactive will be taking part in a variety of fundraising events to support CCLG throughout the partnership. From cycling from our Dublin office to our London office and climbing Snowdon, Proactive is looking to raise enough to really make a difference this year for an amazing cause.
