Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wiring & Assembly Technician to join our production team.
Our high-performance engineering systems are bespoke, designed and manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. As a result, this role offers a varied and technically engaging working environment, providing the opportunity to contribute directly to the manufacture of complex, high-quality engineering solutions.
The successful candidate will take pride in delivering precise, reliable workmanship and will be comfortable working from detailed engineering documentation within a small, dedicated production team.
Key ResponsibilitiesWiring & Electrical Assembly: Carry out precision wiring, manual soldering, crimping and general electromechanical assembly to consistently high standards.Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read, interpret and work from detailed engineering schematics, technical drawings and marked-up design documentation, using initiative to resolve practical assembly challenges.Bespoke System Integration: Support the build, assembly and integration of custom-designed electromechanical systems and components.Quality & Workmanship: Ensure all work meets the required quality standards, with close attention to detail, accuracy and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.Teamwork & Delivery: Work collaboratively within a small production team to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship and product quality.Skills & Experience RequiredProven, hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly and manual wiring.Practical experience in soldering, crimping and electrical assembly techniques.The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings and technical documentation.A methodical, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot assembly issues.A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality finished products.A strong sense of ownership and pride in workmanship, with the flexibility to adapt to the varied demands of bespoke manufacturing.The Ideal CandidateYou will be a practical, technically minded individual who enjoys hands-on engineering work and takes genuine satisfaction in producing high-quality assemblies. You will be comfortable working in a bespoke manufacturing environment where precision, initiative and attention to detail are essential, and where every project can present new technical challenges.
