Responsibilities

Assemble electronic components and products in line with production instructions and specifications.Carry out PCB and component soldering to the required quality standards.Use soldering tools.Follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production processes.Complete production documentation and quality records accurately.Identify and report any component, assembly, or quality issues.Carry out visual inspections and basic quality checks throughout the assembly process.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.RequirementsPrevious experience in an electronics assembly or manufacturing environment.Soldering experience is essential.Experience with PCB assembly, electronic components, wiring, and cable assembly is desirable.Previous experience within a lighting company or lighting manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.Good attention to detail.Ability to follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams.Good understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join our client's production team in Hounslow. This is a hands-on role involving the accurate assembly of mechanical components and products within a busy manufacturing environment.

The successful candidates will have good practical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow assembly instructions and quality procedures. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred, although candidates with a good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts, components and products accurately and efficiently.Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.Follow assembly instructions, drawings and established production procedures.Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications and standards.Identify and report any quality issues or defects.Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.Follow all company health and safety procedures and guidelines.Ensure tools, equipment and materials are used correctly and safely.Support the wider production team with general manufacturing and assembly duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in an assembly, production or manufacturing environment is desirable.Confident using hand tools and power tools.Good practical and mechanical aptitude.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.Able to follow instructions and work to established procedures.Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team.Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.Comfortable working with adhesives and tolerating the associated smell as part of the production process.
