Position: Cable Assembler
Salary: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour
Location: Northampton
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cable Assembler to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Northampton.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Cable Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the Site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Key duties include:
Wiring of cables and loomsCrimpingTesting and quality checking productsPacking, labelling and stock controlReading technical drawings and work instructionsApplying coatings and heat shrinkGeneral production and assembly tasksWhat we're looking for:
Previous experience in cable assembly and basic wiringGood attention to detailFine soldering experience preferredAbility to work independently and within a teamBasic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)Positive attitude and willingness to learn
