We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Fanuc control experience to join a well-established engineering company based in NW9, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist who is looking for stable hours and a four-day work week.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture all components within agreed timescalesSet a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as neededUse a wide range of measuring equipment to inspect small-batch componentsMaintain the agreed quality standards at all timesEnsure all manufactured products are suitably protected for transitFollow the manufacturing plan and prioritise tasks accordinglyComplete all manufacturing paperwork accurately and on timeExecute tasks assigned by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work areaSupport team members with additional tasks as requiredAdhere to Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environmentPerform other reasonable duties as neededRequirements:

CNC Wood Shop Machinist
Hours: This is a late shift position, either from 12pm-8pm or 1pm-9pm (TBC)
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and programming our wood machinery, including CNC and 5-axis Router to produce parts for assembly into finished units for retailers and brands. The role will require translating programmes into high-quality output, with accuracy and in line with production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate wood machinery, such as CNC, Router, Beam Saw and Edge bander. Various brands including Homag and Biesse.Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing data to produce parts.Set up tooling, calibrate machinery, and monitor production runs to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Work closely with the design and engineering teams to optimise CNC programs and production flow.Ensure that materials are available for jobs and liaising with purchasing as to their due dates where required.Booking finished job tickets on the system and moving goods to their next location in the buildingCommunicating issues, quality concerns, shortages, material problems etc quickly and clearly.Perform quality checks on finished products using basic maths to ensure compliance with specifications.Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot issues as needed.Ensure all products meet fire safety and quality compliance standards.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S procedures.Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse environment.Collaborate with team members in assembly and other areas, with a willingness to learn other machines, materials and processes as most of the workforce is multi-skilled.Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documentation.Understanding of wood machining, tooling, and production processes.Experience with tools.Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.Positive attitude and ability to work effectively with autonomy, and as part of a multi-disciplinary late-shift team.Experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer in the woodworking or joinery manufacturing sector.Experience with Beamsaw and Edge bander machines.Able to learn and work on additional machinesForklift licence is usefulExperience:
CNC programming: 2 years (preferred)

CNC Machninist (Turning) Required to work manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.
We are currently looking for CNC Programmer Setter Operator for an experienced Turner who can programme online ( at the machine) using Fanuc controlled machines; they will also need to set and operate the machine. We are willing to offer training for the right candidate, but they must have worked with CNC lathes previously and be able to set and operate. We have a simple pre screening test that we would like all potential candidates to complete prior to arranging interviews. This test will consist of point-to-point positions with G-code (G1, G2 & G3).
The two lathe we have areas follows;
Doosan Puma 2600SY II CNC lathe equipped with Doosan-Fanuc 0iTF Plus CNC Control System with Manual Guide 'i' with bar feeder. Live tooling with sub spindle.
Leadwell Turning Centre LTC-25i LVM with Fanuc controls single spindle C axis live tooling.
The rate of pay will be between £13-£19 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work are 7.45m to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 3.30pm on Fridays with a 45-minute unpaid lunchbreak each day, a total of 39 hours per week. There is also potential for overtime.
Overtime payment is as follows.
The first 4 hours worked in excess of normal hours are paid 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter, hours worked are paid at twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Saturday, first 4 hours at 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Sunday, providing the preceding Saturday has been worked, you will be paid at twice the hourly rate.Working on a Bank Holiday will be paid at twice the hourly rateUpon successful completion of probation period, we can offer the following:
