Location: Bury St Edmunds
Proactive are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler to join an established ACV assembly line.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of assembly activities across the ACV production line, making this an ideal role for someone with a broad skill set across mechanical, electrical and electronics assembly.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll be a key part of the production team, carrying out practical assembly work across mechanical, electrical and electronic components and supporting the wider manufacturing operation.
Responsibilities:
Assembly of mechanical components and equipment to precise specificationsElectrical and electronic assembly workSoldering, wiring, crimping and general assembly activities where requiredReading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and assembly instructionsUsing a range of hand tools, power tools and electromechanical toolingCarrying out assembly and testing activities to a high standardMaintaining quality control and ensuring work meets required standardsWorking across different areas of the ACV production line as required
