We are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a mobile engineering team supporting automated equipment across customer sites throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who enjoys working in a field-based environment, fault finding and maintaining automated, conveyor and materials handling systems.
You will be paid from the moment you leave home, with excellent overtime opportunities and an expected OTE of £70,000+.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated equipment.Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.Undertake emergency breakdown repairs.Maintain conveyors, motors, sensors, controls and materials handling equipment.Complete scheduled servicing in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.Accurately record maintenance and repair activities.Participate in a 1-in-3 on-call rota.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased equipment reliability.Maintain high health, safety and quality standards.Represent the business professionally while working at customer sites.What We're Looking ForStrong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.Electrical qualification required.Good mechanical knowledge and the ability to work across multi-skilled equipment.Experience with automation, conveyors or materials handling systems would be highly advantageous.Engineers from automated warehousing, FMCG, manufacturing, automotive or aerospace backgrounds will also be considered.Ideally around 5 years' experience within maintenance/service engineering.Minimum ONC or equivalent engineering qualification.Knowledge of LOLER regulations would be advantageous.LEEA Part 1 would be desirable.Full UK Driving Licence.Comfortable travelling to customer sites across the UK and participating in an on-call rota.PackageCirca £45,000 basic salaryOTE £70,000+Paid from the moment you leave homeCompany van providedTools and equipment suppliedExcellent overtime opportunities1-in-3 on-call rotaPermanent, full-time positionCareer development opportunities

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Operative to begin work for a leading engineering company based in Cambridge. Working out of their new state of art facility, they design, manufacture, assemble, test and ship bespoke printing equipment.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Stores Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the stores function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
You will be responsible for:
To take responsibility for the reliability of the Stores business information system, ensuring that the Stores Team are fully conversant with the required data entry process, providing training, support and guidance as appropriate.To ensure the Stores Team adhere to established stock control processes and procedures, keeping the information system up to date and reliable.To analyse stock reports, check validity, investigate and resolve any discrepancies, and make adjustments as required, making suggestions for greater efficiency and improvements as appropriate.To participate in the team's general activities in selecting components and kits for production, selecting spare parts orders and assisting Logistics colleagues in the shipment of goods out according to agreed Stores procedures.To support the Senior Team Leader in the upholding and undertaking of safe systems of work and good housekeeping in all Stores and Yard areas across the Inca site.The ideal candidate will be:

You will be responsible for providing build and test support for the development and production of cutting-edge systems using your mechanical and electrical knowledge. This role will involve extensive overseas travel to install machines on client sites.
Main Responsibilities:
Reading & interpreting technical drawings.Wiring- flagging issues with supplier & internal quality.Testing and fault finding.Electrical Installation Take ownership and responsibility to ensure that the build process whilst maintaining a high-quality standard.Undertake electrical/functional testing of systems prior to the system being released.Support the testing and commissioning of systems.Develop and improve all aspects of the build process including standardisation of build and test methods to ensure highest product quality.Specify and maintain tools and equipment.Knowledge and Experience:
