We are seeking experienced Electrical Fitters to support a large-scale automation installation project at a brand-new distribution centre. This is a hands-on role focused on installing and wiring conveyor and automation systems within a fast-paced construction environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a major automation project, with potential follow-on work in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:* Electrical installation on conveyor and automation systems
* Wiring motors, sensors, and control panels
* Cable routing, glanding, and termination
* Electrical assembly on automation lines
* Connecting field devices and control equipment
* Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
* Supporting system build and installation activities
* Assisting with testing and commissioning
Requirements:* Strong electrical installation experience, ideally within conveyors or automation
* Hands-on electrical fitting and wiring experience
* Experience working on new-build construction sites
* Valid CSCS/ECS Card (Essential)
Project Details:* Location: Middlesbrough
* Duration: 6 weeks, with potential follow-on work
* Rate: £30 per hour
* Saturday Rate: £37 per hour
* Sunday Rate: £47 per hour
* Status: Outside IR35 - Ltd or PAYE

This position is based within the Field Operations department and reports to the Project Management team. You will support onsite project execution, coordinate contractors and vendors, monitor project progress, and help ensure successful delivery from installation through completion.
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day onsite execution of warehouse racking retrofit and installation projects.
Coordinate contractors, vendors, integrators, and project stakeholders.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and installation plans.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates.
Lead or participate in site meetings and communicate project risks.
Ensure compliance with safety requirements and project standards.
Support light testing and commissioning activities where required.
Assist with resolving onsite issues to maintain project schedules.
Requirements:
Experience in Project Engineering, Installation Coordination, Site Engineering, or similar field-based roles.
Mechanical installation experience preferred electrical installation experience within industrial environments will also be considered.
Experience within warehouse automation, material handling, distribution centres, industrial, or construction projects.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand installation workflows.

Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States.
Qualifications:

They have an exciting opportunity for experienced Field Installation Supervisors, Site Leads, and Installation Foremen to join their Field Operations team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy leading installation crews, coordinating field activities, and delivering conveyor and warehouse automation projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
This position forms part of the Field Operations team and is responsible for supervising the onsite installation of conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and warehouse automation solutions at customer sites throughout the United States.
ResponsibilitiesLead daily onsite conveyor and warehouse automation installation activities.Supervise mechanical, electrical, and installation technicians on customer sites.Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and project stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.Monitor installation progress and provide regular status updates to Project Managers.Ensure installations are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with project specifications.Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, and project documentation.Assist with troubleshooting installation issues and coordinating corrective actions.Enforce OSHA regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and site safety requirements.Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture onsite.Act as the primary onsite point of contact for customers, contractors, and project teams.Support commissioning teams during equipment handover and project completion.Travel extensively to customer sites throughout the United States.RequirementsPrevious experience supervising conveyor installation or material handling equipment (MHE) projects.Experience leading mechanical and/or electrical installation crews.Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, warehouse automation, or industrial installation projects.Experience reading mechanical and electrical drawings.Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and installation teams.Comfortable working in fast-paced industrial and construction environments.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.Experience following Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability and willingness to travel 100% throughout the United States.Legally authorised to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.Preferred ExperienceCandidates should have supervisory experience on one or more of the following systems:

We are supporting a growing industrial automation organization that is hiring multiple Traveling Electrical Installers to work on large-scale installation projects throughout the United States.
This is a hands-on, entry-to-intermediate-level electrical installation role. It is not a PLC programming position and it is not a maintenance role. The successful candidate will support the physical installation and connection of industrial automation and controls equipment.
The role would suit someone with approximately two or more years of experience completing electrical, low-voltage, cabling, automotive electrical, battery system or industrial equipment installations.
Warehouse automation experience, particularly on Amazon or parcel automation projects, would be highly desirable but is not essential.
Responsibilities
- Complete point-to-point wiring and cable installation.
- Pull, route, label and terminate electrical and controls cabling.
- Connect field devices, sensors, motors and control equipment.
- Read and follow electrical prints, schematics and installation drawings.
- Use a multimeter to complete basic electrical checks.
- Support basic industrial networking and Ethernet connections.
- Identify and report wiring or installation issues.
- Work alongside controls, commissioning and site installation teams.
- Follow all site safety procedures and electrical installation standards.
- Travel between project locations throughout the United States.
- Work approximately 60 hours per week across varying day and night shifts.
Requirements
- At least two years of relevant electrical, cabling, low-voltage, automotive electrical, battery technician or industrial installation experience.
- Previous hands-on installation experience is essential.
- Ability to complete point-to-point wiring.
- Ability to read electrical prints, schematics and drawings.
- Ability to safely use a multimeter.
- Basic understanding of networking, Ethernet or communications cabling.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and electrical installation equipment.
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time.
- Comfortable working days, nights and extended weekly hours.
- Valid driver's license.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
