In this role, you act as part of a global System Integration capability, supporting strategically important, complex, or high-risk projects.
You ensure that functionality, performance, and availability are delivered to the highest standard. Depending on project requirements, you either take full integration responsibility for selected strategic projects or strengthen existing System Integration structures during critical phases. Operating globally and independently of unit structures, the role is dedicated to selected high-impact projects, ensuring deep involvement and avoiding parallel multi-project allocation.

The Position:
Join the ICT Infrastructure product team as an ICT Infrastructure Specialist, responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of the the client's global backend infrastructure landscape. Operating as a DevOps product team, you will act as the knowledge owner and trusted consulting partner for infrastructure-related topics, collaborating extensively with other ICT domains and stakeholders outside the ICT core department.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and optimize enterprise-scale backend infrastructure environments across all locations
- Manage and support HPE server platforms, enterprise storage solutions, virtualization platforms, and Microsoft Windows Server
- Ensure high availability, performance, security, and compliance of the infrastructure landscape
- Collaborate closely with other ICT specialists and execute small to medium-sized projects
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including automation, standardization, and documentation
- Work with external suppliers and vendors where required
Your Profile & Knowledge:
- Solid experience in enterprise backend infrastructure environments
- Proven hands-on experience with HPE backend hardware, enterprise storage platforms, VMware vSphere/ESXi, and Microsoft Windows Server platforms and services
- Experience working in a DevOps or Agile/Scrum environment
- Proactive, structured, and ownership-driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines
- Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, HPE, or infrastructure-related certifications are a strong plus
