Production Supervisor/Lead Operator Required Aylesbury (PM Shifts)
Role Overview
The Production Supervisor/Lead Operator is the senior operator on a designated production line, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production while delivering daily targets for output, quality, and waste.
Working hands-on alongside the team, the Line Lead provides direction and support to operatives, ensures SOPs and GMP standards are followed, and acts as the key link between the production team and Shift Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate operatives to ensure the smooth running of the production line.Deliver daily KPIs for output, quality, efficiency, downtime, and waste.Set up machinery and complete routine line and equipment checks.Monitor production flow and promptly escalate issues to the Shift Manager.Carry out and accurately record in-process quality checks.Ensure SOPs, GMP, Health & Safety, and hygiene standards are consistently followed.Complete batch records, logbooks, and other production documentation accurately and on time.Act as the first point of contact for operatives, providing clear direction, coaching, and support.Support the training and onboarding of new team members.Identify and report non-conformances and deviations and support investigations where required.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production area.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and minimise waste.Support trials, validations, and continuous improvement projects.Required Experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally within pharmaceutical, food, or another regulated industry.Experience in a Supervisory, Line Lead, Team Leader, Senior Operator, or similar role is desirable.Good understanding of production processes, equipment, GMP, SOPs, and Health & Safety.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and compliance.Good organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Basic IT skills and confidence completing production documentation.Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.Additional Info

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Account Executive to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Haddenham.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Account Executive to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
You will be responsible for:
Develop and maintain working relationships with key customer contacts in collaboration with the Account Manager. Attends customer meetings as required to review and develop the account; ensuring the business exceeds customer expectations and responds to all client requests.Co-ordinate the order planning with each customer, from initial order placement into the factory to final shipment. Handling customer purchase orders and getting the orders out on the day.Work cohesively with Buyers to ensure kit clearance and maintain continuous communication with the production, quality, engineering and despatch teams to ensure timely production and delivery of goods.Support and co-ordinate as required the Requests for Quotation (RFQs) process to help win the order.Identify issues and problems such as Return Material Authorisation (RMAs), carrier issues and late deliveries and work collaboratively with other departments to find solutions.Interpret and report on customer feedback to internal departments.Send daily/weekly reports as requested. Open order books, stock reports, despatch and delivery reports, PODs and RMA reports to internal and external customers.Maintain a good understanding of each customer's products and their industry sector.Monitor all customer service emails and answer, deal with or re-direct all telephone calls to the business. Answer door buzzer and welcome visitors.
Experience:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional and helpful to all customers and stakeholders with the ability to engage and develop strong working relationships.
Experience of managing or co-ordinating accounts within a manufacturing environment.
Confident to work with commercial data and order timeframes.
Willing to speak up when there is an issue and get support to find a suitable solution for the customer.
Able to handle multiple tasks and remain calm and composed under pressure.
Comfortable to plan, prioritise tasks and work at pace to deliver to tight deadlines.
Good computer literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
Previous experience of using an MRP or stock management system would be beneficial.

About the Role:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a utilities expansion program at their manufacturing site. The projects are currently at the feasibility and design stage, focusing primarily on refrigeration and wastewater systems. The ideal Project Manager will have the capability to manage the projects through the full life cycle, from design and planning to commissioning and closeout, while ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility and design through to commissioning and handover.Oversee the refrigeration and wastewater expansion projects, ensuring technical, budgetary, and timeline objectives are met.Ensure compliance with CDM (Construction Design and Management) regulations, coordinating with designers, contractors, and stakeholders to manage health and safety risks.Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and status reports.Track project costs and ensure efficient allocation of resources.Required Experience & Skills:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing utilities/engineering projects in a manufacturing, or industrial environment.Ideally some experience with refrigeration systems and wastewater utilities projects.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage projects through the full lifecycle.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities.Desirable Qualifications:
