Night Shift : Monday to Thursday (16:45pm - 03:15am)

£16.45 - £18.44ph + Overtime at x1.5

Proactive are recruiting for forklift drivers for a company based in Witney on a full-time basis.

The company are looking to expand their workforce and employ several forklift drivers to join their fast-paced production team.



About the Forklift Driver role

Movement of products within the yard and warehouse

Unloading of stock from delivery vehicles

Loading of finished products onto trailers for delivery to customers

Manual handling of stock

Recording stock movements on company stock control systems

Involvement in assembly and production across all areas of the assembly line



To be considered for the Forklift Driver role you will:

Have an in-date or recently expired forklift licence for either Counterbalance, Reach or Combi

Be physically fit due to the physical nature of this role

Be able to communicate effectively, with a good written and verbal understanding of the English language

Be willing to learn all other aspect of production and prepared to be hands on, as the role does not require the operating of the forklift for the full duration of each shift

Have previous experience with hand tools (Beneficial but not essential)

Be computer literate

Assembly Technician

Assembly Operative urgently required to work for a world leading specialist business based in Oxfordshire, This isn't your normal Assembly role, you will be working within a very specialist division where the purpose of the role is to be responsible for undertaking multi-skilled duties that will contribute to the success of a key piece of safety equipment.

Key to this role is the ability to work with chemicals and explosive materials, have a keen eye for detail and health and safety practices, For this we are open to people with a range of experience aslong as it is within similar manufacturing environments that require working to drawings, weighing, measuring and being able to track what has been utilised, incorrect volumes can have a dangerous effect!

Responsibilities and experience:

Basic production / manufacturing experience gained from operating in a similar manufacturing environmentHandle chemicals and explosive materials, goods and components carefully.Accurately interpret assembly drawings and production documents so that Part Numbers, Drawing Issues, Working Practices and Batches are Identified and recorded correctly.Assemble accurately, to required tolerances.Using appropriate Weighing Equipment and Tools relevant to specific batches.To undertake self-inspection and quality check of work undertaken.Updating SAP in order that work in progress is accurately recorded at all times.Basic understanding and interpretation of engineering drawingsBasic grounding in H&S policies and proceduresCan work under pressure to balance competing job priorities to agreed deadlines.

Assembly Operatives/ Machine operators required experienced Production Operatives with experience in CNC machines, routing etc to join a growing established team due to company growth on a permanent basis for a leading manufacturing business based in Oxfordshire. We are looking for experienced Assembly Operatives with general manufacturing/production experience preferably assembly and machine operation ideally CNC .

You will be required to work one of the shifts, Earlies or Lates as below (not rotating):

Early shift Monday to Thursday 6:00am to 2.30pm, Friday 6:00am to 11:00am .

Late shift Monday to Thursday 2.30pm to 11.00pm , Friday 11:00am to 4.00pm

Duties will include:

Working in any area of component manufacturing, machine operation, product assembly, wiring and test as required to meet delivery requirements.Carryout component manufacturing, product assembly to meet requirements documented in build instructions, drawings, BOM's or other related documents.Ensure all activities satisfy quality standards or other applicable standards.Set up component manufacturing equipment (including EHRT, Plating line, power presses), product production areas, to ensure it is run efficiently and effectively to meet requirements.Basic assembly of parts and equipment.Operating a range of production machinesUtilisation of a range of basic hand tools whilst working to drawings and build sheets.Work in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring and test as required to meet delivery requirements.Ensure that all components and products are stored tidily and correctly identified.Experience of assembly within manufacturing environments.
