You will be responsible for

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the critical intersection of electrical engineering and advanced automation. You'll maintain the complex systems that power our national distribution network, applying your expertise to:

Reactive and planned maintenance of automated machinery, maintain, and repair systems to industry standards.Conduct routine inspections and propose solutions for potential issues.Monitor system performance and optimise efficiency.Collaborate on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement programs.Confidently Interact with External Contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.Work Collaboratively with the Team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.This position is working Panama shift 2's & 3's across day and nights

Responsibilities will include;

Responsible for performing malfunction and maintenance work as well as carrying out preventive and periodic maintenance, in collaboration with colleagues. Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.Resolving electrical, mechanical technical faultsWorking closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.General day to day maintenance duties.Representing the brand by demonstrating our core values maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the uniform.Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.

You will need

As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or industrial environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.

Operational Skills:

Apprentice trained or City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering/ Maintenance or similar.Experience within an FMCG / MHE manufacturing or automated environmentProficient communication skillsAbility to work in a time critical environment.Health & Safety awareness

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to begin work for a world leading manufacturer based in Daventry.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Mechanical Assembler to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the company's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

You will be responsible for:

Efficient and correct to specification Mechanical assembly, hydraulic installation, electrical wiring, and fabrication / fitting operations, linked to the manufacture, service and repair of access platforms.Competent build inspection of all stages and materials used. Full compliance with ISO 45001 procedures, and total quality focus throughout all direct / indirect stages of manufacturing process to achieve a quality product aligned to the customer's specification / expectations.Effective and efficient value added organisation and control of all allocated operations. Full flexibility, including being training and training others to enable all manufacturing operations by all to be completed across the company.Compliance with health and safety standards, flexibility, and development of skills through the complete manufacturing process, and the production / product cells.Maintaining and developing accurate systems and procedures. Ensuring engineering masters and works orders accurately reflect the approved parts consumed. Identification of low stock / shortages.Working as a team to achieve customer quality, delivery, cost and innovation requirements. Striving to meet performance requirements for accidents / incidents, internal quality defects, cell productivity / utilisation, overall stock accuracy and WIP (flow line adherence).Ensuring company procedures are complied with.

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Experience in a similar hands on Assembly role;Computer skills to include the use of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OutlookA good communicator at all levels within the business as well as with customers is fundamental therefore must have a high standard of spoken and written English.

Pay Rate: £12.47 per hour holiday accrued or £13.97 per hour holiday paid (holiday pay paid ontop of hourly rate)

Duties:

Lifting of items onto production linesMoving goods around the factoryAssisting with the manufacturing and assembly processOperating machinery and production equipmentConducting quality checks to ensure high standards are metMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentFollowing health & safety guidelines

The ideal candidate must:

A positive attitude and eagerness to learnAbility to work efficiently as part of a teamPrevious experience working with metal/in fabricationStrong attention to detail and willingness to take on new challenges
