Trainee/ Junior Electro mechanical Assemblers Urgently required to work for a specialist engineering and manufacturing organisation based near Farnborough. This is a Trainee level role so no prior experience will be required, however key to this role will be a positive attitude, a want to learn, pick up new skills and progress within the business.

You will be working closely with the Production Engineering and Quality teams to assemble mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings

The role:

Assembly of mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawingsSoldering, wiring, crimpingUsing equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly.Testing and inspection of assembliesFollow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD controlEnsure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements.Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principlesAdhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.Full training provided on assembly, testing, ESD control and quality proceduresOpportunity to progress to Skilled Assembler, Test Technician or Production Technician roles.

To be successful you should have previous relevant experience ideally gained from your work, studies or a hobby. Experience of small, fine assembly or repairs using hand held tools is ideal. any knowledge of the repair of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, PC's would also be very useful but not essential.

You should be able to communicate effectively at all levels in the business. Have the ability to perform small parts testing and repair efficiently, accurately and repeatedly. Any experience if working with electronic equipment is an advantage along with any previous soldering experience being of benefit.

You should be a positive and methodical worker, used to working in a team environment and be keen to learn and develop your skills.
