Electrical controls project engineer, CPE, is responsible for directing, checking, and verifying the entire designs of motor control panels, PLC panels, and associated electrical systems required to control conveyor systems and/or related equipment used in the Material Handling Industry (Freight/Parcel, Baggage Handling, Warehouse Distribution, and Manufacturing). Communication bus design experience that includes ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.Computer Aided Drafting Knowledge - Extremely proficient in the use of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical Software. The ability to use and create custom routines within AutoCAD to help automate repetitive work and to decrease design time.Computer Skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Word and Excel. Job Summary

The Controls Engineer for Parcel Systems Remote Support provides technical support for automated parcel handling systems, initially focused on supporting Amazon operations. This role is part of the After Sales and Service team and is responsible for providing remote PLC and electrical systems support to maintain system availability and performance.

This position requires an engineer who is comfortable responding to technical support calls in a fast paced environment and capable of troubleshooting complex controls and electrical issues remotely.
