Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day site installation activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
* Coordinate with the Project Manager, customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
* Manage manpower, resources, and a rolling four-week look-ahead plan.
* Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, tools, and site logistics.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs and weekly progress reports.
* Champion health, safety, and quality standards across the project.
* Support testing, commissioning, customer training, and project handover.
* Resolve on-site issues and escalate technical or commercial matters where required.

* Monitor project progress, identify change orders, and help mitigate project risks.

Electrical controls project engineer, CPE, is responsible for directing, checking, and verifying the entire designs of motor control panels, PLC panels, and associated electrical systems required to control conveyor systems and/or related equipment used in the Material Handling Industry (Freight/Parcel, Baggage Handling, Warehouse Distribution, and Manufacturing). This includes power feed calculations, 480 volt power schematics, 120 volt control schematics, I/O drawings, field device layouts, PLC layout/design, panel layout/design, panel commissioning and checkout. Must be knowledgeable and experienced with UL508A standards, SCCR calculations and methods, material handling system architecture, and networking. Must also be knowledgeable and experienced with PLC and HMI programming for material handling systems. Expert level in programming PLC systems for high-speed sortation applications is desired.

Schneider product experience is a plus. Motion control design, conveyor merging controls, sortation, and product tracking knowledge are a must. Communication bus design experience that includes ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.Computer Aided Drafting Knowledge - Extremely proficient in the use of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical Software. The ability to use and create custom routines within AutoCAD to help automate repetitive work and to decrease design time.Computer Skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Word and Excel. Ability to work with and link Excel files within AutoCAD.Troubleshooting Skills - The ability to diagnose and solve customer and product related issues. Job Summary
The Controls Engineer for Parcel Systems Remote Support provides technical support for automated parcel handling systems, initially focused on supporting Amazon operations. This role is part of the After Sales and Service team and is responsible for providing remote PLC and electrical systems support to maintain system availability and performance.
This position requires an engineer who is comfortable responding to technical support calls in a fast paced environment and capable of troubleshooting complex controls and electrical issues remotely. The role involves supporting systems used in warehouse and airport environments where conveyor technology and automation systems are similar in operation but may differ in hardware and configuration.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers around the clock as part of a 24 hour, 7 day support structure. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required to assist with system troubleshooting, commissioning, or service activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Remote Technical Support

Serve as a technical point of contact for customer support requests.Maintain clear and professional communication during troubleshooting activities.Provide timely updates on system status and issue resolution.Maintain accurate service documentation and support records.Service and Project Support
Support the After Sales team in activities related to service contracts, spare parts, and small projects.Assist with system upgrades, troubleshooting support, and engineering analysis when required.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to service and support operations.Travel and Field Support
