About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join Körber on major Amazon automation projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong site-based professional with proven experience managing automated warehouse, material handling or logistics projects, ideally within Amazon environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site activities across Amazon automation projects.
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineers and installation teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Coordinate installation, commissioning and integration of automated systems.
Liaise closely with Amazon stakeholders, project managers, engineering teams and suppliers.
Monitor progress, resolve site issues and provide regular project updates.
Ensure all site activities comply with health & safety and project requirements.
Support testing, commissioning and handover of automation systems.
Essential Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager / Site Lead on automation or material handling projects.
Previous Amazon project experience is essential.
Strong understanding of warehouse automation, conveyors, sortation or automated material handling systems.
Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary site teams.
Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements.
Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work across Amazon sites as required.
Desirable
Experience with Körber, Dematic, Vanderlande or other major automation providers.
Experience working on large-scale fulfilment or distribution centre projects.
Relevant site management or health & safety qualifications.

To manufacture, assemble and finish sheet metal products and components to required quality standards and production schedules. The role involves working from drawings, operating workshop machinery, and carrying out fabrication tasks safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate sheet metal components from engineering drawings and work instructions.Measure, mark out, cut, fold, bend and assemble metal materials.Operate workshop machinery and equipment, including guillotines, press brakes, drills, saws and other fabrication tools.Carry out basic welding, grinding, finishing and fettling operations where required.Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and dimensional requirements.Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.Ensure machinery and tools are used safely and maintained in good condition.Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.Assist with loading, unloading and handling materials when required.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow all company health and safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.Essential:
