Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated industrial and logistics site in Oslo, Norway.

This is a hands-on maintenance role within a modern automated environment, where you will be responsible for keeping critical equipment and systems running safely, efficiently and reliably.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of a small, collaborative engineering team responsible for the maintenance and reliability of automated warehouse and material-handling equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated industrial equipmentDiagnosing and resolving electrical, mechanical and automation-related faultsMaintaining equipment such as conveyors, automated cranes, lifters, monorail systems and pallet handling equipmentSupporting preventative maintenance activities and continuous improvement initiativesResponding to breakdowns and minimising equipment downtimeWorking safely and following site maintenance and operational proceduresCollaborating closely with colleagues across engineering and operations

Working Environment

You will be based at highly automated operational site in Oslo.

The working environment is team-oriented, with a strong focus on collaboration, safety and operational reliability.

Please note that parts of the facility are maintained at approximately 4°C, so you should be comfortable working in a cold industrial environment.

Working Hours

The position operates on a rotating 8-hour shift pattern:

06:00-14:0014:00-22:0022:00-06:00

The standard working pattern is Monday to Friday, with no scheduled weekend rotation. Additional weekend overtime may occasionally be available.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an engineer with a strong practical approach to maintenance and fault finding.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in electrical, mechanical, automation or multi-skilled industrial maintenanceExperience working with automated machinery or material-handling systemsStrong fault-finding and troubleshooting skillsThe ability to work independently as well as part of a small engineering teamA safety-focused and proactive approach to maintenanceEnglish at B2 level or aboveA willingness to work rotating shiftsknowledge of Norwegian is a plus, but not essential.
