Assembly Operatives Urgently required to work for a specialist Engineering organisation based in Redhill, we are looking for a highly motivated individuals who want to work on cutting edge machinery for a specialist organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled Assemblers who want to progress their career further.

No two days wil be the same you will be involved within a wide range of departments supporting the full build process, these include Assembly, Calibration, Inspection, Kitting, Packing and dispatch.

We are looking for candidates with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude. Key Responsibilities

Assemble the specialized range of products in strict accordance with company build procedures and quality standards.Utilising hand tools to build machineryWorking to build sheets or engineering drawingsAssist with the calibration of completed products using specialized equipment, accurately recording serial numbers, production data, and test records.Perform incoming parts inspections to ensure quality control, and kit parts from production orders for sub-assemblies.Pack finished products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring items are securely readied for on-time shipping.Utilize the company ERP system to maintain accurate production files and ensure the workflow runs smoothly.

Education/Qualifications:

NVQ, HNC, HND, or an apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering (or a relevant technical discipline).Product assembly training in a stringent manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Strong practical skills with the ability to read and interpret engineering/general assembly drawings. EExperienced in using small hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers).Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude.A personal interest or hobby in 3D printing, RC models, or DIY mechanics fits perfectly with the culture of this team.

Experience/ Qualifications

Experience with Purchasing, Supply chain, Buying, Procurement, Production Planning or similarSelf-starter, who demonstrates ownership and can follow problems through to resolution.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systemsOrganised, methodical and attentive to detail.Team player who has excellent influencing skills

A minimum of three years' purchasing or procurement experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Previous experience managing supplier relationships and placing purchase orders for manufactured components.Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.A proactive approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.Good attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy.Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or a similar ERP/MRP system.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Desirable Experience

We are looking for:
