Position: Machine Operator
Salary: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour
Location: Great Gransden
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Great Gransden.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Machine Operator to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Machine Operator required to work for manufacturing company based in Great Gransden, immediate starts available for the right candidates.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Machine Setup: Calibrate, adjust settings, and prepare the machine at the start of a shift based on work orders and blueprints.Operation: Feed raw materials into the machinery and monitor production runs for optimal efficiency.Quality Control: Inspect finished goods or components to ensure they meet exact company tolerances and specifications.Routine Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform basic preventative maintenance on parts to prevent breakdowns.Troubleshooting: Identify minor malfunctions and alert maintenance teams or perform basic repairs when necessary.Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations (such as wearing personal protective equipment) and maintain a clean workspace.Additional Info:

We are currently seeking a skilled electronic technician to work for one of our clients based in Sandy, the ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly, testing and inspection. Immediate start available for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to technical specifications and production guidelines.Perform functional testing and verification of electronic assemblies and finished units, using specialised test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and automated test systems.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in both the production and testing phases, ensuring all products meet required specifications and quality standards.Interpret and follow detailed technical schematics, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate assembly and testing procedures.Maintain accurate records of test results, production data, and any issues encountered during the assembly and testing processes.Collaborate with production engineers and quality control teams to improve assembly methods and testing procedures.Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and repair of production and test equipment to ensure optimal performance.Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
Required Experience:
Experience in electronic assembly, production, and testing in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and automated test systems.Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and assembly processes.Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and production documents.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high quality work.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production and testing issues.Ability to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing and to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment with minimal supervision.Additional Info
Hours; 7.30am-4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-2.00pm on Fridays
