Position: Finance Assistant

Location: Great Gransden

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Sandy.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Finance Assistant to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Job Role:

Processing supplier invoices through AP system (ISP) including coding to general ledger and raising any identified queriesSupplier statement reconciliationsGeneral review of the ledger and investigation of any issuesExpenses and credit card returns - check, code and submit for approvalRaise payment proposals, submit to bank and raise manual payments all for further approvalSupport with the set-up of supplier master dataChase overdue amountsIssue customer statementsRaise free text invoices and credit notesGeneral review of the ledger and investigation of any issuesSupport with the set-up of customer master dataSupporting the Assistant Accountant with month end general journal postingsDaily bank account postings supporting AP, AR and direct GL postings

 Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements of each product line

 Packaging and labelling products for shipment or overseeing packaging machinery

 Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

 Following and advocating safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

 Experience in a similar role in manufacturing is greatly advantageous.

Position: Cleaner

Salary: £13 - £14.57 per hour

Location: Great Gransden

Shift - 3 days per week between Monday and Friday.

Proactive are currently recruiting for a cleaner to join our client based in Great Gransden. This would be a part time, 3 days a week role.

Duties will include:

Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closetsRefilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dustersMaintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessaryTaking out the garbageCarrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinksConducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning
