Stores/Warehouse Operative

Permanent Position

Proactive Global currently is looking for an experienced Warehouse/Stores Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company based in Sunbury-Upon- Thames, TW16.

This is a Permanent Position

Shift Timings : Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30 (early finish Friday)

Pay rate: £33k per annum

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and book in incoming electronic components, parts and materials.Pick and issue components to production and assembly teams in line with job requirements.Maintain accurate stock records using computerised inventory systems.Identify, label and store electronic components correctly, ensuring full traceability.Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items.Carry out regular stock checks and assist with cycle counts.Ensure components are handled and stored appropriately, including observing electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions where required.Liaise with purchasing, production and quality teams to ensure materials are available when needed.Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores area.Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience in a stores, stock control or warehouse role, ideally within electronics or electrical manufacturing.Good knowledge of electronic components, such as PCBs, connectors, cables, resistors and capacitors.Experience booking in, picking, issuing and tracking stock.Comfortable using computerised stock control systems and Microsoft Office.Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.Understanding of component identification, labelling and traceability.Awareness of ESD handling procedures would be advantageous.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams.Reliable, organised and able to manage workload independently.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working within an electronics manufacturing or engineering environment.Familiarity with bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers and engineering documentation.Knowledge of quality procedures and component storage requirements.

Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Thame

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for an Quality Inspector to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Thame.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Quality Inspector to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Key Responsibilities

Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports for goods manufactured in-house.Inspection and verification of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports submitted by the supplyCarry out dimensional and cosmetic inspection of goods manufactured in-house or by thesupply chain.Maintain daily inspection figures/reports.Support in the identification and handling of non-conforming (NC) product.Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time to support customer schedules.Communicate effectively & professionally with Customers, Suppliers & Colleagues.Any other duties that may be required from time to time to support the business.

Skills & Experience

Experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspection ReportsPrevious experience within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret Engineering Drawings & Specifications.Experience in using handheld inspection equipment, rules, venires etc.Keen eye for detail.Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.Team player, enthusiastic with a positive 'can do' attitude.Ability to work under pressure, to multi-task & manage own time to meet required deadlines.
