Proactive are urgently recruiting for an Account Manager to join electronics manufacturing client in Windsor (SL4 Area).

Role Details :

Location: Windsor (SL4)

Salary : £40K

Working hours: 37hrs / week (Fully on-site)

Monday - Thursday : 08:00-16.30

Friday : 08:00-13:00

Skills and Experience:

Experience of managing new customer accounts within a manufacturing environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to connect with key stakeholders and nurture strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.Sound commercial awareness of how revenues and gross margins impact the business.Confidence to negotiate and influence decision making with senior stakeholders.Confident to handle multiple tasks and remain composed during challenging situations.Experience of using MRP systems; strong ability to plan, manage complex customer orders, and sense-check commercial data with meticulous attention to detail.

Proactive Global is hiring for Trainee SMT Operator for a leading manufacturing company based in Windsor, SL4. We are looking for experienced Technician to work within a busy electronics manufacturer and willing to get trained on SMT Machines.

Duration- Full time is 37 hours per week

Mon to Thurs 07:30 to 16:00 and Fri 07:30 to 12;30

Pay Rate: £26,250 pa

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operate computer-controlled surface mount assembly machinery to successfully assemble surface mount technology printed circuit assembliesContinually monitor the process to ensure perfect quality using inspection equipmentAbility to read machine error messages and correct placement & printing problemsConfident to hand place SMT parts accurately onto circuit assemblies, ensuring correct polarity of devicesKit and de-kit SMT placements machines and set up printing programs on automatic stencil printersDocument aspects of the Work Order including run times, hand fits, and process deviationsRead and interpret Drawings, Diagrams and Bills of MaterialsMaintain high housekeeping standards

Account Manager

The Role

This is a diverse, customer-facing position that plays a crucial role in our overall success.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day communication and management of a small number of key customers. While the customer portfolio is deliberately focused, each account requires a high level of ownership, effort and attention to detail.

As an Account Manager, you will be one of the people our customers interact with most. You will therefore play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and ensuring we consistently meet our commitments.

Key Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the planning and coordination of customer requirements from initial placement into the factory through to final shipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact for your customers.Managing customer purchase orders and ensuring requirements are accurately captured and communicated.Planning and coordinating customer orders throughout the manufacturing process, from initial factory placement through to final shipment.Working closely with the Buying team and Stores to ensure materials are procured and kits are cleared on time.Maintaining regular communication with Production and Engineering teams to monitor progress, manage priorities and resolve issues.Managing customer schedules and ensuring delivery commitments are understood and achieved.Providing customers with timely, accurate and proactive updates on the status of their products.Identifying potential issues early and taking ownership of resolving them before they impact the customer.Coordinating multiple customer requirements and projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Ensuring customer expectations are managed effectively and that any changes to requirements, schedules or delivery dates are communicated promptly.Skills, Knowledge & Experience
