Proactive are urgently recruiting for a Materials Operative/Stores person to join our client in Windsor (SL4 Area).

This will be a straight start

Role Details :

Location: Windsor (SL4)

Pay rate: £14 per hour

Normal Working hours: 37hrs / week

Monday - Thursday : 08:00 - 16:30, early finish on Friday

Responsibility:

Receipt of goods into the business and location of products using the computer stock management systemEnsure timely supply of material to the production lines, liaise with purchasing and quality to highlight possible shortages, and maintain stock accuracy through use of the stock management and Kanban systemsKitting and packingPick and pack, and accurately label shipments for despatch to customers, using the use of the stock management system to execute transactions and locate stockUsing a forklift to move stock around when required (counterbalance).

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

About the Role

As a key member of the materials/ warehouse team, you will be responsible for the receipt of components and goods, ensuring timely delivery to the assembly lines, and managing tasks such as picking, kitting, and packing for dispatch to customers. This role requires the use of computer systems to maintain accurate records and track inventory.

You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting the continuous improvement of safety and efficiency through 5S and logistics best practices. Your key responsibilities will include:

Receiving goods into the warehouse and locating products using the stock management system.

Ensuring timely supply of materials to production lines, collaborating with purchasing and quality teams to identify potential shortages.

Maintaining stock accuracy through the stock management and Kanban systems.

Kitting and packing product sets.

Picking, packing, and accurately labelling shipments for dispatch to customers, using the stock management system to execute transactions and locate stock.

About You

Strong customer focus, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders have a positive experience, as your work often represents the first impression of the product.

Previous experience in logistics, picking, and packing.

Computer literate, with a solid understanding of material transactions and stock management systems.

Rework Technician

Proactive are urgently recruiting for a Rework Technician to join manufacturing client in Windsor (SL4 Area).

Role Details :

Hours- 37 hours/week

Monday to Thursday : 07:30 to 16:00

Friday : 07:30 to 12;30

Pay Rate: £32,000 pa

Location : Windsor, SL4

Main responsibilities

Carry out SMT and through-hole rework, repair and modification activities on electronic assemblies.Remove and replace surface mount components, including fine-pitch devices and BGAs where trained and authorised.Complete engineering changes, customer modifications and product upgrades in accordance with approved documentation.Read and interpret drawings, assembly instructions, schematics and bills of materials.Use soldering, rework, inspection and X-ray equipment to complete work to required standards.Identify and report quality, process or product issues to support continuous improvement.Maintain accurate records and comply with ESD, quality, housekeeping and health and safety requirements.Support assembly, inspection or testing activities as required to meet business needs.

Skills, knowledge & experience

Proven experience of SMT and through-hole soldering and rework.Ability to solder and rework components down to 0201 package size. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams and bills ofStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good understanding of ESD controls and electronic assembly standards.Experience of BGA rework, track repairs, modifications or IPC standards would be advantageous.
