We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical assembly or fitting background who is confident working from technical drawings and using a range of hand and power tools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and repairing a range of mechanical products, including trolleys, steps, platforms, and other equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The AGSE Product Technician will be responsible for the inspection, assembly, servicing, testing, and maintenance of aircraft ground support pressure equipment. This includes ensuring all systems are built and maintained to strict safety, quality, and performance standards, supporting reliable operation of aircraft tyre pressure systems.
🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble, service, and refurbish gas pressure units and AGSE equipment
Work with gas cylinders, pressure vessels, valves, and pipework systems
Perform fault diagnosis across mechanical, pneumatic, and basic hydraulic systems
Carry out functional testing, inspection, and safety checks on completed units
Complete calibration and certification activities where required
