Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a Monday to Friday days role with a global business that genuinely invests in its people?

THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a multi-skilled engineering team responsible for maintaining and improving a demanding industrial production environment.
You will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, helping to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenanceResponding to and repairing equipment breakdownsElectrical and mechanical fault findingMaintaining large-scale industrial and process equipmentWorking with pumps, motors, gearboxes and pneumatic systemsDiagnosing faults and implementing effective repairsIdentifying recurring equipment issuesSupporting root cause analysis and permanent corrective actionsContributing to continuous improvement projectsWorking to engineering KPIs and site standardsSupporting improvements to equipment reliability and performanceWorking closely with Production and other engineering disciplinesMaintaining high standards of health and safetyTHE ENVIRONMENT
This is a heavy industrial and process environment rather than a light manufacturing operation. The engineering team works with substantial industrial equipment and machinery, making this particularly suited to engineers who have worked in demanding industrial environments.

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with a strong heavy industrial, process or manufacturing background.
You will ideally have:
A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experienceStrong hands-on maintenance experience within a heavy industrial environmentElectrical or mechanical bias with the ability to work across disciplinesExperience maintaining large-scale industrial machinery and equipmentStrong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skillsGood diagnostic and problem-solving abilityA proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvementGood communication and teamwork skillsA willingness to learn and develop technicallyAn interest in automation, controls, reliability or engineering improvementThe ambition to develop your career within a long-term organisationABOUT THE COMPANY
