Position: Cleaner

Salary: £13 - £14.57 per hour

Location: Great Gransden

Shift - 3 days per week between Monday and Friday.

Proactive are currently recruiting for a cleaner to join our client based in Great Gransden. This would be a part time, 3 days a week role.

Duties will include:

Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including living/working areas, bathrooms, kitchens and supply closetsRefilling and restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)Washing kitchen napkins, floor rags and dustersMaintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessaryTaking out the garbageCarrying out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinksConducting monthly disinfection and deep cleaning

Im currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor based in, Sydney. This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone with strong experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance-ideally within an FMCG or food production environment.

We are looking for someone with hand on machine / engineering building / fixing experience.

Someone with a wide range of skills and experience. We have found that people with a mechanic background ad taken to this job a lot easier.

Training will be provided!

Job role -

Maintaining and if needed fixing small and industrial sewing machines.

This can include a simple jam of the machine from the material to much more complicated issues which will need to be identified by yourself and then fixed.

Again training will be provided.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Toolmaker/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a general machine shop environment, capable of handling basic repair and maintenance tasks. While not a fully qualified maintenance engineer, the successful candidate will be skilled in working with manual machinery, performing minor reworks, and carrying out general factory upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual machines, including manual lathes, for rework and modifications.

Perform preparation tasks such as filing, deburring, and finishing work.

Maintain machinery by filling oil/coolant and emptying swarf bins.

Conduct basic repair work around the factory using hand tools, similar to a handyman role.

Support general machine shop activities as needed.

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience in a machine shop environment, preferably as a toolmaker, machinist, or maintenance technician.

Ability to use manual lathes and other traditional machining tools.

Competence in handling basic repair and maintenance tasks.

Familiarity with hand tools and workshop equipment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
