Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines to produce components to specification.Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Select the correct tooling and carry out machine set-ups efficiently.Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance where required.Work safely and maintain a clean, organised working environment.Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.

CNC Machninists (Milling or Turning) required to work manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes.
We are currently looking for CNC Programmers, Setters and Operators for a busy client experiencing growth.
Operatives who can programme online ( at the machine) using Fanuc controlled machines; they will also need to set and operate the machine. We are willing to offer training for the right candidate, but they must have worked with CNC lathes previously and be able to set and operate. We have a simple pre screening test that we would like all potential candidates to complete prior to arranging interviews. This test will consist of point-to-point positions with G-code (G1, G2 & G3).
The two lathe we have areas follows;
Doosan Puma 2600SY II CNC lathe equipped with Doosan-Fanuc 0iTF Plus CNC Control System with Manual Guide 'i' with bar feeder. Live tooling with sub spindle.
Leadwell Turning Centre LTC-25i LVM with Fanuc controls single spindle C axis live tooling.
The rate of pay will be between £13-£19 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work are 7.45m to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 3.30pm on Fridays with a 45-minute unpaid lunchbreak each day, a total of 39 hours per week. There is also potential for overtime.
Overtime payment is as follows.
The first 4 hours worked in excess of normal hours are paid 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter, hours worked are paid at twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Saturday, first 4 hours at 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Sunday, providing the preceding Saturday has been worked, you will be paid at twice the hourly rate.Working on a Bank Holiday will be paid at twice the hourly rateUpon successful completion of probation period, we can offer the following:

You will be working on-site installing conveyor and automation systems as part of a large mechanical installation team. This hands-on role involves mechanical assembly, installation, and maintenance of warehouse distribution equipment, with opportunities for follow-on projects.
Key Responsibilities
Site Installation
* Install conveyor systems including roller conveyors and metro belting systems.
* Mechanical assembly and alignment of automation equipment.
* Use hand and power tools to complete installation work safely and efficiently.
* Assist with system set-up, adjustments, and mechanical modifications on-site.
