Proactive are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Amada CNC press brake machines to produce components to specification.Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.Select the correct tooling and carry out machine set-ups efficiently.Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance where required.Work safely and maintain a clean, organised working environment.Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved.Support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise efficiency and reduce waste.
Skills:
Previous experience operating Amada CNC Press Brakes .Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexible to work alternating morning and afternoon shifts.

We are recruiting 8- 10 Warehouse Operatives to join a brand-new warehouse facility based in LS25 6RH. This is a temporary opportunity, with assignments lasting 4 weeks or 6 weeks, depending on business requirements.
This is a physically demanding role suited to individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, moving stock throughout the warehouse, and ensuring goods are stored safely and efficiently. The role involves manual handling and the use of push/pull equipment-no forklift operation is required.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload deliveries.Offload goods and transport them to designated storage areas.Move stock throughout the warehouse using manual handling equipment.Pick, sort and organise products.Operate the AutoStore warehouse system (training will be provided if required).Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.Candidate Requirements
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting throughout the shift.Comfortable with repetitive manual handling, including pushing and pulling loads.Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.Experience using an AutoStore system would be a strong advantage.What We Offer
