Job Description
As a Sr. Project Engineer/Manager, you will serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, contractors, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the full lifecycle of projects. You will work in a dynamic office and field environment, operating under the guidance of the Regional Director and other Senior members, and in close coordination with global engineering teams.
Beyond project delivery, you will play an active role in building presence across North America. Supporting business development, presenting to new and prospective contacts, and helping to establish the business as the premier baggage handling and cargo consultant in the region. You will also provide mentorship to junior staff.
Job Responsibilities
As a Sr. Project Engineer/Manager, your responsibilities may include:
Carrying out site inspections, field surveys, equipment tests, and construction management tasksAssessing project sites for feasibility and operational requirementsDeveloping and reviewing CAD drawings, engineering designs, specifications, and technical reportsCollaborating with architects, designers, engineers, and trades across multidisciplinary project teamsManaging project budgets, programmes, and logistics including RFI responses and punch list resolutionPreparing project status reports, cost estimates, and technical studiesConducting and reviewing system simulations and verifying compliance with project requirementsProviding technical and specialist support to staff at other offices on matters including BHS controls and system installation, electrical systems design, and emerging trends in airport ground handling and baggage operationsMentoring new and junior staffQualifications

The Role
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electronic Mechanical Assembly Technician in Biggleswade. The Technician will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electronic components, and electrical wiring.
Daily tasks include using hand tools to perform mechanical assembly, working with electronics manufacturing processes, and ensuring all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for CNC Programmers, Setters and Operators for a busy client experiencing growth.
Operatives who can programme online ( at the machine) using Fanuc controlled machines; they will also need to set and operate the machine. We are willing to offer training for the right candidate, but they must have worked with CNC lathes previously and be able to set and operate. We have a simple pre screening test that we would like all potential candidates to complete prior to arranging interviews. This test will consist of point-to-point positions with G-code (G1, G2 & G3).
The two lathe we have areas follows;
Doosan Puma 2600SY II CNC lathe equipped with Doosan-Fanuc 0iTF Plus CNC Control System with Manual Guide 'i' with bar feeder. Live tooling with sub spindle.
Leadwell Turning Centre LTC-25i LVM with Fanuc controls single spindle C axis live tooling.
The rate of pay will be between £13-£19 per hour depending on experience. Hours of work are 7.45m to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 3.30pm on Fridays with a 45-minute unpaid lunchbreak each day, a total of 39 hours per week. There is also potential for overtime.
Overtime payment is as follows.
The first 4 hours worked in excess of normal hours are paid 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter, hours worked are paid at twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Saturday, first 4 hours at 1.5 times the hourly rate, thereafter twice the hourly rate.Working extra hours on a Sunday, providing the preceding Saturday has been worked, you will be paid at twice the hourly rate.Working on a Bank Holiday will be paid at twice the hourly rateUpon successful completion of probation period, we can offer the following:
