You will map and analyze the reliability, efficiency and potential risks of our mechanized DCs and HSCs, using proven reliability methods and data analysis.You advise the (Asset) management team on smart improvements to make systems more stable, efficient and safer, and translate this into a practical maintenance concept.You turn improvements into action: you work closely with our service providers to successfully implement the maintenance concepts and ensure the performance of the installations.
Requirements:
HBO or university working and thinking level in a technical direction, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or similar.3-5 years of relevant work experience in optimizing maintenance and automation processes, including experience in reliability engineering and maintenance management. You are familiar with methodologies such as RCA, FMECA, RCM, and preferably have experience with logistics processes and mechanization.Experience with ISO standards such as ISO 55001, ISO 31000 and ISO 9001 is a plus.VCA VOL certification or willingness to obtain it.In addition, you are:

System Architecture & Standardization
Define and design scalable electrical systems that meet project scope, budget, and performance requirements across multi-system environments.

Team Development & Mentorship
Serve as a primary mentor across all levels of the electrical engineering team, providing technical guidance and structured coaching.
Lead internal training workshops on design methodologies, tools, and emerging technologies.
Support technical hiring, onboarding, and long-term professional development planning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Controls Engineers to ensure full electro-mechanical alignment and integrated system performance.
Collaborate with Project Management on forecasting, budgeting, estimating, and risk planning.
Coordinate with vendors, fabrication partners, and internal stakeholders to manage design handoffs, changes, and deliverables.

Qualifications

Other Key Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical preferred (or similar software).
Working knowledge of UL, NEC, and IEC electrical code requirements.
Ability to read and produce schematics, layout drawings, and panel documentation.
Familiarity with VFDs, power supplies, terminal blocks, and industrial sensors.
Ability to travel up to 25%-35% for commissioning effort and support.
