Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional TIG Welder / Fabricator to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
TIG Welder / Fabricator to work for manufacturing company based in Luton, immediate starts available for the right candidates.
Responsibilities for TIG welder
Fit and assemble welded and non-welded component parts into a complete assemblyFood grade welding experience a mustMust be able to read blueprints/ schematicsMust be able to weld in all positionsMust be able to pass on-site weld testTig weld on Aluminium, and Stainless requiredMig weld on carbon steel is preferred as wellUnderstanding welding procedures and programs will be a plusUnderstanding weld mapping procedures and programs will be a plusAbility to keep Good Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) will be a plus
Qualifications for TIG welder
Must be comfortable reading and interpreting blueprintsMust be comfortable doing custom workMust be willing to work off site as and when requiredMUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS MINIMUM OF WELD SHOP EXPERIENCEMUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS MINIMUM OF TIG WELDING EXPERIENCEAdditional Info:
