Position: Tramper Driver
Salary: £45,000 + Overtime
Hours: Full Time - 5 shifts per week - Sunday to Thursday Evening / Friday Morning
This is a permanent position and an exciting opportunity to work for a market leading company, offering a competitive salary, overtime opportunities and a consistent working pattern.
As a Tramper Driver, you'll be a core part of the transport team, completing planned routes throughout the week and working exclusively with Amazon drop-and-swap trailers, with no manual handling required.
Responsibilities:
5 shifts per week, starting on Sunday and finishing on Thursday evening or Friday morning, depending on the Sunday start timeFull route plan provided for the weekRoute provided on Thursday for the following week's workTramping work, with overnight stays away from homeInformation provided on where to park and sleep during the weekNo manual handling requiredCompleting routes safely and efficientlyEnsuring all relevant driving and working-time regulations are followedCarrying out vehicle and trailer checks as required
Skills:
Minimum of 3 months' tramping experienceFull UK HGV licence and relevant qualificationsExperience with overnight tramping and working away from homeReliable and punctualA methodical, professional approach to workUnderstanding or experience of drivers' hours and working-time regulations
