We are seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to support accurate and efficient order fulfilment in a busy warehouse environment. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but full site-specific training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Pick orders accurately using instructions and handheld RF scanners.Check product codes, quantities and condition.Move stock safely using trolleys and pallet trucks, where trained and authorised.Replenish stock and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged goods.Maintain good housekeeping and follow health and safety procedures.Work with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.

Skills and Requirements

Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.Able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle items up to 15 kg.Good attention to detail and accuracy.Comfortable learning handheld scanners and warehouse systems.Reliable, punctual and a good team player.Able to follow instructions and communicate issues clearly.

Additional Info:

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am-18:00pm for 3 months before moving to 11:00am-20:00pmRate: £12.71 - £14.24 per hourStart Date: ASAP

Stores/Warehouse Operative

Sunbury-Upon-Thames, TW16

Permanent Position

Proactive Global currently is looking for an experienced Warehouse/Stores Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company based in Sunbury-Upon- Thames, TW16.

This is a Permanent Position

Shift Timings : Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30 (early finish Friday)

Pay rate: £33k per annum

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect and book in incoming electronic components, parts and materials.Pick and issue components to production and assembly teams in line with job requirements.Maintain accurate stock records using computerised inventory systems.Identify, label and store electronic components correctly, ensuring full traceability.Monitor stock levels and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged items.Carry out regular stock checks and assist with cycle counts.Ensure components are handled and stored appropriately, including observing electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions where required.Liaise with purchasing, production and quality teams to ensure materials are available when needed.Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores area.Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous experience in a stores, stock control or warehouse role, ideally within electronics or electrical manufacturing.Good knowledge of electronic components, such as PCBs, connectors, cables, resistors and capacitors.Experience booking in, picking, issuing and tracking stock.Comfortable using computerised stock control systems and Microsoft Office.Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills.Understanding of component identification, labelling and traceability.Awareness of ESD handling procedures would be advantageous.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams.Reliable, organised and able to manage workload independently.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience working within an electronics manufacturing or engineering environment.Familiarity with bills of materials (BOMs), part numbers and engineering documentation.Knowledge of quality procedures and component storage requirements.

About You

Strong customer focus, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders have a positive experience, as your work often represents the first impression of the product.

Previous experience in logistics, picking, and packing.

Computer literate, with a solid understanding of material transactions and stock management systems.
