New technology, new equipment, and new opportunities for engineers who know how to keep complex operations running. If you've spent your career keeping heavy industry moving, this is where that experience goes next.

Each of NEXT's South Yorkshire sites has its own focus and specialism. As the network grows, so does the range of engineering challenges on offer, from conveyor and MHE maintenance to the latest automated systems coming online.

South Elmsall
Elms Drive (E2), Elms Way (E1), & E3: Dedicated high-performance e-commerce fulfilment and box-picking operations geared toward standard online orders.
Stadium Way & Stadium 2: Specialised "hanging-garment" warehouses designed specifically for garments, dresses, and tailored clothing.

Rotherham
Durn Valley Box: A pure retail-focused logistics site optimized for picking and dispatching high volumes of daily stock straight to physical retail stores.
Durn Valley Pallet: Specialises in handling and distributing larger homeware items, soft furnishings, lamps, and smaller furniture pieces for both online and retail channels.

Doncaster
High-Bay Furniture Hubs: Massive dedicated facilities handling oversized home furniture and bulky goods. They feature automated high-bay racking systems, robotic cranes, and an integrated in-house manufacturing workshop that builds hundreds of sofas weekly

If your background is in heavy industry, manufacturing, or plant maintenance, you already have most of what this role needs:

• Mechanical and electrical fault-finding
• PPM routines
• Working safely under pressure
• Knowing your way around a site that doesn't stop moving.

What's different at NEXT is the environment: cleaner, more structured, and increasingly automated. It's a chance to apply everything you already know in a setting built for the next stage of your career, not the last one.
