We are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes. Immediate start are available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately assemble mechanical parts and components in accordance with specifications and instructions.Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the required standards.Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively during the production processBasic metal fabrication (training provided)Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily production targets.Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised working environment.Follow all company health and safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.Report any quality issues, defects, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or production environment is advantageous but not essential.Ability to confidently use basic hand tools.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Good manual dexterity and the ability to follow detailed instructions.Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm / 12.00pm-8.00pm alternating weeklyStart: Immediate starts available for suitable candidatePay: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour PAYE.

Our client in Reading is currently for a number of assembly operatives to join the business on a temp to perm basis, both AM and PM shifts available.

AM Shifts: 6.00am-2.30pm Monday to Friday

PM Shifts: 2.30pm-11.00pm Monday to Friday

Duties

Assemble and build products using a range of tools and workshop equipmentMechanical and electrical assemblyBasic electrical wiringSafe handling of products accordance with the company's Health & Safety procedures.Ensure all equipment used in performing the above tasks is returned to its proper location and is used in a safe manner and in accordance to the manufacture guidelinesTo ensure that the work area and adjacent gangways are kept tidy and free from obstruction.To be aware of and comply with ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures where applicable
