Supplier quality Engineer urgently required to work for a world leafing manufacturing organisation based near Uxbridge. We are looking for a experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to manage and monitor the performance of all suppliers into the business. Ensuring they are working to compliance, drawings, product specifications to ensure a clear fit is delivered to all customers.
You will develop and manager supplier performance date including non-conformities, undertake root cause analysis and work on preventative measure with suppliers. Your role is key to business deliverables so ensuring you work closely with suppliers to ensure actions and processes are implemented to stop reoccurring issues and concerns.
Key responsibilities:
Identify gaps and update procedures relating to supplier quality - ensuring all process and procedures reflect good business practice.Work on developing and driving a Right first time quality culture with suppliers.Support and guide implementation of root cause, corrective actions with suppliersWork with customers on training and development of quality cultureSupport and conduct audits on both product and processSupport and develop continuous improvement cultureMonitor and escalate product quality issuesTravel to customer sitesExcel proficiencyUnderstanding of root cause etc.Must Have experience
