We are currently recruiting for a Deburrer / Metal Worker to join a busy manufacturing and foundry environment based in St. Neots.
This is a great opportunity for a practical and hardworking individual looking for a temp-to-perm position. Previous foundry experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided, so candidates with transferable hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Deburring, fettling and finishing metal components.Carrying out general metalworking duties.Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.Assisting with general foundry and production duties as required.Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.Following workplace health and safety procedures.Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.Wearing the appropriate PPE, which will be provided.
Requirements
Previous experience in a foundry, manufacturing or metalworking environment would be beneficial but is not essential.Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.Comfortable using hand and power tools.Physically fit and capable of handling reasonably heavy loads.Reliable and committed to working Monday to Friday.Able to follow instructions and work safely within a busy production environment.Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

Location: St. Neots
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deburrer/Metal Worker to begin work for a leading manufacturing company based in St. Neots.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Deburrer/Metal Worker to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
