We are currently recruiting for a Deburrer / Metal Worker to join a busy manufacturing and foundry environment based in St. Neots.

This is a great opportunity for a practical and hardworking individual looking for a temp-to-perm position. Previous foundry experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided, so candidates with transferable hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Deburring, fettling and finishing metal components.
• Carrying out general metalworking duties.
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assisting with general foundry and production duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.
• Wearing the appropriate PPE, which will be provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a foundry, manufacturing or metalworking environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and capable of handling reasonably heavy loads.
• Reliable and committed to working Monday to Friday.
• Able to follow instructions and work safely within a busy production environment.
• Own transport is required due to the location of the site.

Additional Info

• £14.00-16.00 per hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
