A rapidly growing global software provider is looking to appoint a Director of Sales to lead its North American commercial expansion. This is a rare opportunity to join an established technology business that is investing heavily in the US market, with significant backing, a proven product suite, and ambitious growth plans.
The business develops enterprise software used by some of the world's leading logistics, courier, parcel and retail organisations to optimise transportation operations, improve visibility, and drive supply chain efficiency. Having built a strong international presence, the company is now focused on accelerating its growth across North America and is looking for an experienced sales leader to play a pivotal role in that journey.
This is a highly strategic, customer-facing position where you'll be responsible for driving new business growth, expanding existing enterprise relationships, and shaping the commercial strategy for one of the company's most important regions. You'll work closely with executive leadership and collaborate across marketing, product, customer success and delivery teams to ensure continued market success.
What you'll be doingDevelop and execute the North American sales strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth.Identify and win new enterprise customers across the courier, express parcel, transportation and retail sectors.Build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers within complex enterprise organisations.Lead strategic sales engagements from initial opportunity through to contract negotiation and close.Own pipeline management, forecasting and sales performance reporting.Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new commercial opportunities.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success and maximise long-term account value.Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company's go-to-market strategy as it continues to scale across the region.What we're looking forWe're looking to speak with experienced enterprise software sales professionals who have a strong track record of selling Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or related logistics technology into large enterprise customers.
You'll ideally bring:
10+ years of enterprise software sales experience within Transportation Management, logistics technology or retail supply chain solutions.Previous experience operating in a senior sales leadership capacity with responsibility for revenue growth and strategic accounts.A demonstrable history of exceeding sales targets and closing high-value enterprise software deals.Strong knowledge of the North American logistics, transportation, courier or retail technology landscape.Experience building relationships with C-level executives and key enterprise stakeholders.Excellent commercial acumen, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence both internally and externally.Why consider this opportunity?This is an opportunity to join a well-established software company at an exciting stage of growth.
