About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Asset Manager to take ownership of the Asset Management System across a major airport environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, governing and continuously improving asset management processes, ensuring asset performance, risk management and lifecycle decisions are aligned with ISO 55000 principles and contractual objectives.
This is a strategic role that will play a key part in improving reliability, cost efficiency, asset performance and long-term asset value across a complex, operational airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Management & Governance
Own and develop the end-to-end Asset Management System in line with ISO 55000 and IAM frameworks.
Act as the recognised subject matter expert for asset management.
Lead asset management maturity assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and maintain asset management governance frameworks, processes and standards.
Strategy & Roadmap
Develop and deliver an Asset Management Roadmap aligned with wider business objectives.
Lead the development and governance of the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP).
Develop and maintain Asset Management Plans (AMPs) and Asset System Strategies.
Translate strategic objectives into practical, measurable asset management initiatives.
Asset Performance, Risk & Value
Develop asset performance frameworks, KPIs and asset health measures.
Implement risk-based decision-making across maintenance, lifecycle and investment planning.
Ensure maintenance strategies are aligned with asset criticality and operational impact.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, availability and overall asset performance.
Lifecycle Planning & Optimisation
Take ownership of lifecycle planning and long-term asset strategies.
Support data-driven decisions around asset condition, obsolescence, replacement and investment.
Align lifecycle investment with asset performance, risk and business priorities.
Identify opportunities to optimise whole-life asset costs and value.
Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement
Identify and deliver asset management improvement initiatives.
Drive the use of digital tools and data-driven approaches to improve asset performance insight.
Promote continuous improvement across asset management processes.
Develop asset management capability and best practice across the wider organisation.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Projects and Supply Chain teams.
Provide expert advice on asset performance, risks, lifecycle planning and strategy.
Support strategic initiatives involving key stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across multiple functions and organisational levels.
Compliance & Assurance
Support ISO 55001 assurance activities, audits and governance processes.
Ensure asset management activities comply with relevant policies, standards and contractual requirements.
Maintain appropriate asset management documentation, processes and controls.
Essential Skills & Experience
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Asset Management or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge and practical understanding of ISO 55000 / ISO 55001 and IAM principles.
Proven experience developing and implementing Asset Management Systems.
Experience carrying out asset management maturity assessments and improvement programmes.
Proven experience developing and delivering asset management roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, risk management and asset performance.
Experience working within complex, operational environments.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate strategic asset management objectives into practical outcomes.
Strong analytical and data-driven approach.
Experience working across engineering, operations, projects and supply chain functions.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced and proactive Operations & Project Delivery Manager to lead their Australian operations based in Melbourne. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will take ownership of warehouse operations, procurement, logistics, project delivery and customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Your Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, logistics and project delivery functions.
* Oversee inventory management, receiving, dispatch, stock accuracy and warehouse workflow optimisation.
* Manage procurement activities and coordinate suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate freight providers and third-party logistics partners to maximise delivery performance and minimise costs.
* Act as the primary operational point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
* Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and effective issue resolution.
* Manage projects from procurement and warehouse planning through to installation, commissioning and final client handover.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, improve margins and reduce waste.
* Implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes to achieve 'Right First Time' project delivery.
* Ensure compliance with Australian OH&S legislation, site safety requirements and company quality standards.
* Monitor operational KPIs including delivery performance, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction and cost control.
* Lead, mentor and support warehouse and operational staff while fostering a positive team culture.

About You:
You are a hands-on, commercially aware Operations & Project Delivery Manager who enjoys taking ownership and solving problems. You naturally build trust with customers while driving high operational standards and motivating your team to consistently deliver outstanding project outcomes.

You have:
* At least 5 years experience in an Operations Management role.
* Experience within retail fixtures, pallet racking, shelving, shopfitting, warehouse storage, procurement, project delivery or related industries.
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and supply chain management.
* Experience delivering retail consolidation programs and multi-site rollout projects for major retailers such as Bunnings, Kmart or similar organisations will be highly regarded.
* Project Management experience or exposure managing operational project delivery.
* Strong procurement and supplier coordination experience.
* The ability to interpret technical drawings and warehouse layouts.
* Experience using ERP/WMS systems together with solid Microsoft Office skills.
* Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong commercial acumen with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
* A hands-on leadership style with the ability to lead from the front.
* Current Australian Drivers Licence (White Card advantageous).

The successful Maintenance Manager will lead engineering maintenance activities across their site in Leeds, ensuring maximum plant reliability, reduced downtime, and continuous improvement in OEE performance. You will manage engineering teams within a manufacturing environment and drive best practice maintenance strategies.

Lead Engineers or Team Managers stepping up into their first Maintenance Manager role will also be considered.

Key Requirements

UK Experience working within manufacturing or automated engineering environments

UK Proven experience managing engineering teams

Electrical or Mechanical qualification or completed apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and manage the planned preventative maintenance programme

Implement and manage maintenance schedules to ensure optimal plant condition

Maintain and develop planned maintenance systems with budget accountability

Create flexible maintenance plans aligned to production demands

Allocate work to engineering specialists and manage performance feedback

Identify training needs and develop team capability plans

Manage spare parts stock levels to support operational continuity while controlling cost

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and training requirements

Support Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss initiatives

The BHS Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of automated baggage handling systems at SFO. This role manages the coordination of mechanical, electrical, controls, and software systems to ensure compliance with TSA, airport, safety, and performance requirements. The Site Manager serves as the primary on-site leader, driving project execution from installation through final system handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site installation, integration, testing, and commissioning activities.Manage project schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and technical teams.Coordinate mechanical, electrical, controls, and software integration efforts.Oversee verification of conveyor logic, sortation accuracy, drive systems, and network communications.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving automation and control systems.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, TSA requirements, NEC codes, and NFPA standards.Maintain project documentation, testing records, punch lists, and turnover packages.Support successful system acceptance and operational handover.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience managing industrial automation, material handling, or baggage handling system projects.Proven experience leading large-scale automation projects in active brownfield environments, preferably airports.Strong knowledge of PLCs, I/O mapping, control schematics, industrial networks, and automated sortation systems.Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary technical teams.Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and airport operational requirements.
