Working pattern: On-site, rotating 2-shift schedule (day & night), Monday-Saturday morning
We are seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Specialist to take a leading role in coordinating maintenance activities across automated logistics facilities and material handling systems.
The position combines maintenance coordination, technical leadership, hands-on troubleshooting, facilities support, vendor management, and small project management. You will work closely with technicians, control room specialists, operations teams, OEMs, and external service providers to ensure reliable and safe performance of the site's facilities and automated sorting systems.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across facilities, conveyor systems, and material handling equipmentCoordinate maintenance preparation, execution, reporting, and follow-up both on-site and remotely for other stationsSupport preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities across electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systemsProvide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting when requiredSupport maintenance of conveyor systems and components, including bearings, shafts, rollers, and other mechanical equipmentMonitor the performance and reliability of automated sorting systems and identify potential issues or anomaliesProvide technical guidance and assessment to Regular and Senior Technicians and Control Room SpecialistsAssess the quality and execution of maintenance work and ensure appropriate administrative close-out in IBM MaximoCoordinate and manage local vendors, OEMs, and external service providersCoordinate OEM activities and ensure external maintenance work is completed safely, correctly, and to the required standardsSupport and supervise projects related to material handling equipment and facility systemsManage small technical and maintenance projects from planning through to completionSupport facility planning and engineering activitiesManage spare parts, inventory, and maintenance-related purchasing activitiesRaise and manage POs/PRs, process invoices, and follow up on maintenance-related procurementMaintain accurate maintenance records, including breakdowns, parts usage, LOTO procedures, toolbox meetings, and other technical activitiesTake ownership of maintenance reporting and coordination through IBM Maximo CMMSSupport continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and maintenance efficiencyProvide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to maintenance teamsEnsure compliance with relevant safety, operational, and technical standards and proceduresQualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, maintenance coordination, or a similar technical environmentStrong technical background in electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systemsHands-on experience with conveyor systems, automated sorting equipment, or material handling systemsExperience in maintenance coordination and technical team leadershipPrevious experience managing or coordinating external vendors, OEMs, or service providersExperience with CMMS systems, preferably IBM MaximoUnderstanding of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance processesExperience with maintenance planning, reporting, and administrationExperience supporting or managing small technical projectsGood understanding of spare parts, inventory, and maintenance procurement processesTechnical qualification (MBO or equivalent) in electrical, electronic, electromechanical, automation, mechanical engineering, or a related disciplineStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsLeadership and mentoring capabilitiesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailFlexible, hands-on, and service-oriented approachComfortable working in a fast-paced operational logistics environmentFluent in English and Dutch, both written and spokenTo apply, please send your CV to Natalia at:

We are seeking an experienced Control Room Specialist with a strong background in automation, maintenance, and SCADA systems to support a highly automated logistics hub.
The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support during sorting operations, monitor automation systems, coordinate on-site maintenance teams, and ensure the safe and effective performance of conveyor and material handling systems.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage conveyor and material handling equipment through SCADA systems during live sorting operationsActively respond to system alarms, signals, and operational issues, coordinating Field Service Engineers and Technicians to troubleshoot and resolve incidentsProvide local and remote troubleshooting support across automation, electrical, electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical systemsSupport the maintenance and operation of automated material handling systems, including conveyors, bearings, shafts, rollers, and other mechanical componentsEnsure the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of sorting systems during operational shiftsProvide technical leadership, guidance, and support to Regular and Senior Technicians on-siteAssess technical work and provide guidance on both maintenance execution and administrative close-outSupport planning and engineering activities related to material handling and facility systemsManage and coordinate small technical projects and local vendors when requiredMaintain accurate records of breakdowns, maintenance activities, spare parts usage, LOTO procedures, toolbox meetings, and other technical activitiesUse and maintain IBM Maximo CMMS for maintenance reporting and administrative processesSupport inventory and spare parts managementIdentify system anomalies and implement appropriate corrective actions in line with established proceduresEnsure compliance with relevant safety, operational, and technical standardsMentor and support maintenance personnel, promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharingQualifications
