Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Electrical production and Prototype Wiring Technicians to join a leading manufacturing company based out in Egham, TW20 Location.

This is a Permanent position.

Salary - £34000 per annum

Location - Egham, TW20

Responsibilities:

The Prototype Wire Person shall be responsible for day-to-day Electro-Mechanical wiring, and assembly.Building sub-assemblies, and complete systems to drawings as per build procedures.Ability to read electrical / electronic drawings, and work accurately to electronic procedures.Build electrical control panel / enclosures from scratch including mechanical assembly.Drill, tap, and fit panel internal components such as relays, terminal blocks, and power supplies.Electrical crimping, soldering, wiring, and looming of control panel to a high standard.To assemble cables including cable crimping on various types of connectors, cable terminating, looming, and labelling to requirements.

Candidates must have :

Experience of panel wiring and machine wiring.Demonstrable a basic electrical knowledge, and able to read, and work with schematics, and general engineering drawings.Able to wire control panels / boxes, including crimping, soldering to high standard, and terminating.Experience of electrical loom harnessing, and soldering to a high standard.Demonstrable ability to work both independently, and as part of the team.Conduct accurate logical decision making, and problem-solving skills.

Mechanical Assembly Technician Required Egham

Salary: £30k to £32k per annum

This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing precision-engineered components and assembling them into system elements used in advanced hydraulic systems. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with high-value components to strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble components using hand, power, and precision toolsInterpret technical drawings and follow work instructionsEnsure all parts meet required quality standards; identify and report defectsHandle components safely in line with health & safety regulationsMaintain tools, equipment, and 5S workplace standardsWork collaboratively with colleagues and support team activitiesContribute to continuous improvement, including work instructions and risk assessmentsFollow all company procedures and safety requirements

Skills & Experience Essential:

Ability to read and interpret technical drawingsStrong mechanical assembly skills (hydraulics knowledge desirable)Experience with hand, power, and precision toolsHigh attention to detail and problem-solving abilityGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Experience:

Minimum 2 years' experience in precision engineering or similar environmentExperience assembling high-value, low-volume components

Qualifications:

Apprenticeship or equivalent practical background (preferred)
