Reliability Engineer
Location: Poland/Portugal/Romania
A global logistics and transportation company is looking for a Reliability Engineer with strong control systems expertise. This role has a particular focus on predictive maintenance, data analysis, and continuous reliability improvement.
Responsibilities:
Assess and improve system, equipment, and process reliability to meet performance and safety standardsAnalyse performance and failure data to identify trends and patternsDevelop data analysis tools and dashboards, including AI-based functionalitiesPerform reliability analysis using tools such as FMECA, RCA, RCM, and Reliability Block DiagramsIdentify failure modes, risks, and vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategiesPlan and execute reliability testing and document resultsConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actionsCollaborate with design and development teams to integrate Design for Reliability (DFR) principlesDevelop and optimise maintenance strategies to extend asset life and minimise downtimePrepare and present reliability performance reports to managementDrive continuous improvement initiatives across reliability processesEnsure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial or related field)3-5 years of dedicated experience in MaintenanceMandatory expertise in PLC and control systemsStrong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skillsExperience with reliability engineering methodologies (FMECA, RCA, RCM, Reliability Block Diagrams)Proficiency in data visualisation and analysis tools such as Power BI, advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot), and SharePoint (Power Automate, SharePoint Lists)Project management skills and ability to lead reliability improvement initiativesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProactive mindset with strong attention to detailAdaptable and willing to learn new technologiesCertified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification is a plus
