CAD Designer (3D Modeling) - Large-Scale Industrial & Warehouse Projects

The company specializes in industrial engineering and warehouse automation solutions, delivering large-scale logistics and high-bay storage projects across Europe. They have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer to join their engineering team. This position is well-suited to a detail-oriented and technically minded professional who is looking to expand their experience in industrial structures and automation-related projects.
This position is based in the Engineering Department and reports to the Engineering Manager. You will develop detailed 3D models of steel structures and racking systems, create technical and fabrication drawings, and support projects from concept through installation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop 3D models of steel structures, racking systems, and structural components using SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Tekla.
* Create 2D technical drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation.
* Manage large assemblies with thousands of components.
* Collaborate with structural engineers and automation specialists on conveyors, cranes, and AS/RS systems.
* Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues.
* Support design updates throughout the full project lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D CAD design within industrial, mechanical, or structural engineering.
* Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or Tekla Structures.
* Experience working with large and complex assemblies.
* Ability to create accurate manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
* Good understanding of steel structures and structural connections.
* Professional working proficiency in English.
