Industrial Engineering Specialist
Location: Venlo / Roermond, The Netherlands

About the Opportunity
An international contract logistics organisation is looking for an Industrial Engineering Specialist to
support multiple warehouse facilities in Venlo and Roermond. The role focuses on improving
warehouse performance through process optimisation, data analysis and continuous improvement
within large-scale 3PL operations.

Key Responsibilities
* Analyse warehouse productivity, workflows and operational performance.
* Develop staffing and capacity plans based on forecasts and operational data.
* Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support warehouse automation projects (AutoStore, AMRs and WMS enhancements).
* Coordinate warehouse layout changes and operational reconfigurations.
* Create KPI reports and performance dashboards.
* Collaborate closely with Operations Managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
* Support implementation of new processes and operational training.

Ideal Background
* Experience in warehouse logistics, contract logistics (3PL) or distribution centres.
* Background in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Supply Chain or Continuous
Improvement.
* Experience improving warehouse processes, productivity and operational efficiency.
* Advanced Excel skills; Power BI, AutoCAD and WMS knowledge are an advantage.
* Lean / Six Sigma knowledge is beneficial.
* Fluent English.
