Proactive Global is hiring for experienced Warehouse Operatives to join a leading manufacturing organization in Sunbury-upon-Thames. Candidates must have prior exposure to manufacturing domain.

Location: Sunbury on Thames TW16

Salary: Up to £30k per annum

Responsibilities:

Receiving and Processing: Unloading deliveries, checking goods received against purchase orders, and accurately recording inventory.Storage and Organization: Storing goods in designated areas, ensuring items are properly labelled and organized for easy retrieval.Order Fulfilment: Picking and packing orders according to customer specifications, preparing shipments, and ensuring timely dispatch.Goods In Processing: Booking good received in to the system , checking for damage. Labelling the goods and putting them away in their locations.Quality Control: Inspecting products for defects or damages, reporting any issues, and ensuring all items meet quality standards.Safety and Maintenance: Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and performing routine equipment checks.Inventory Management: Conducting regular stock checks, updating inventory records, and assisting with stocktaking activities.

Proactive are recruiting for forklift drivers for a company based in Witney on a full-time basis.

The company are looking to expand their workforce and employ several forklift drivers to join their fast-paced production team.



About the Forklift Driver role

Movement of products within the yard and warehouse

Unloading of stock from delivery vehicles

Loading of finished products onto trailers for delivery to customers

Manual handling of stock

Recording stock movements on company stock control systems

Involvement in assembly and production across all areas of the assembly line



To be considered for the Forklift Driver role you will:

Have an in-date or recently expired forklift licence for either Counterbalance, Reach or Combi

Be physically fit due to the physical nature of this role

Be able to communicate effectively, with a good written and verbal understanding of the English language

Be willing to learn all other aspect of production and prepared to be hands on, as the role does not require the operating of the forklift for the full duration of each shift

Have previous experience with hand tools (Beneficial but not essential)

Be computer literate
