Location: Huntingdon
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators to begin work for a leading manufacturing company based in Huntingdon.
Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit a number of Machine Operators to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Key Responsibilities:
Start, stop, and run vacuum-formed packaging and packing lines efficiently.Inspect finished packaged products for defects, correct seals, and accuracy against company standards.Perform basic preventative maintenance, clear minor mechanical jams, and clean equipment.Load films, boxes, and raw packaging materials into the machinery, and move finished stock to inventory areas.Working Hours

Responsibilities
Setting up and operating relevant machinery.Safe operation of process machinery, including safety features, emergency stops, lock-out systems and safe systems of work. Proactively identify and report any potential machine or process issues to the Production Manager.Maintain a thorough understanding of corrugated material types and specifications to identify and address material-related issues.Take responsibility for the effective supervision and coordination of assistants, feeders, stackers and packers.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment within the process area in accordance with 5S standards.Beneficial:
