This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team and work within a highly automated FMCG manufacturing environment.

THE ROLE

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a highly automated FMCG production facility, ensuring machinery remains safe, reliable and available for production.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenanceResponding to reactive breakdownsElectrical and/or mechanical fault finding and repairDiagnosing faults across automated FMCG production machineryMinimising downtime and restoring equipment to operation quicklySupporting continuous improvement projectsWorking closely with Production and the wider engineering teamIdentifying opportunities to improve equipment reliabilitySupporting root cause analysis and permanent corrective actionsMaintaining accurate maintenance recordsWorking safely and in line with site procedures

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer position, you will need:

City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualificationPrevious experience as a Maintenance Engineer within an FMCG, manufacturing, production or process environmentExperience maintaining production or process machineryStrong electrical or mechanical maintenance backgroundGood fault-finding and problem-solving skillsA hands-on and proactive approachAbility to work effectively as part of a teamA genuine interest in automation and modern FMCG manufacturing technologyFull right to work in the UK
