Job Purpose:
Responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing electronic/mechanical equipment in the field while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Collaborates with peers, supports special projects, and maintains strong technical documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily service repairs and field installationsTroubleshoot and resolve electronic/mechanical issues using schematicsMaintain accurate service logs and submit reports promptlyManage parts ordering, installation, and returnsTrain customers on equipment operation as neededEnsure tools and test equipment are calibrated and maintainedProvide technical support and participate in special projects or site surveys
Qualifications & Skills:

You will lead daily maintenance operations, coordinate repair activities, and be the main on-site contact for the client. Your role will also include driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting site performance through effective maintenance strategy implementation.
Shift PatternEarly: 06:00 - 14:00 (Mon - Fri)
Late: 14:00 - 22:00 (Mon - Fri)
Night: 22:00 - 06:00 (Mon - Fri)
One Saturday day shift every 4 weeks (09:00 - 17:00), combined with early/late shifts Tues-Fri that week
Key ResponsibilitiesLead a team of engineers, technicians, and apprentices
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across all site equipment
Act as the key liaison with the client for daily operational updates
Complete technical reporting using CMMS, DART, SAV Assure, and Teams
Support or cover the Site Engineering Manager when needed
Manage support escalations and remote ticketing
Promote health and safety compliance and continuous improvement on site
About YouEssential:
NVQ Level 3 or BTEC HNC/HND in Engineering
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
Proven leadership experience
Working knowledge of Siemens S7, Profibus, Canbus, Profinet, and ASI Bus
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
Experience in materials handling or logistics environments

Key Responsibilities:Supervise all on-site electrical installation activities
Oversee and perform electrical testing and inspection (2391 or equivalent)
Coordinate daily work tasks, ensuring health & safety and quality compliance
Report to project management teams and liaise with subcontractors

Support commissioning and handover phases
Essential Requirements:Valid CSCS or ECS card
