Mechanical Assemblers / Fitters required to work for a specialist engineering and manufacturing business based in Aldershot.We are looking for experienced assemblers/ Fitters who can take on a range of assembly tasks by working to engineering drawings. This role will vary, however we are looking for someone with an experience of assembling semi complex components into housings.
We are looking for people at any stage of their career, who have focus, drive and a passion for engineering.
This role will give you the opportunity to grow within a business as they launch new products and treble the business headcount!

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Assembler to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical assembly or fitting background who is confident working from technical drawings and using a range of hand and power tools.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and repairing a range of mechanical products, including trolleys, steps, platforms, and other equipment, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings to assemble mechanical products
* Build, assemble, and repair equipment including trolleys, steps, and platforms
* Use drills, grinders, and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Complete work accurately and maintain quality documentation and records
* Follow ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and health & safety requirements at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience reading and working from technical drawings is essential
* Mechanical assembly, fitting, or engineering background
* Confident using drills, grinders, and other workshop tools
Working Hours: AM / PM shifts available, with early finish options
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000
