The client specialises in the automation, intralogistics and warehouse technology industry and is renowned for its innovative engineering solutions and commitment to cutting-edge product development. They have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Mechatronics Product Development to join their team.
This position is well-suited to a strategic and commercially minded leader who is looking to drive the standardisation and industrialisation of innovative mechatronic products while leading a high-performing team. You will lead the ongoing development of the new product range, coordinate cross-functional engineering activities, and drive product standardisation to improve quality, scalability, and delivery performance.
Responsibilities:
Lead the standardisation, industrialisation and development of Rovosphere products and components.Define and prioritise technical development roadmaps with key stakeholders.Manage cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, implementation and testing teams.Ensure product targets relating to quality, cost, deadlines and performance are achieved.Coach, mentor and develop a growing engineering team.Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.Proven experience in product development, standardisation or industrialisation environments.Previous leadership experience within engineering or product development teams.Strong project management and agile working experience.Excellent communication skills with German and English language proficiency.Reasons why you should apply:
