Assembly Operative urgently required to work for a world leading specialist business based in Oxfordshire, This isn't your normal Assembly role, you will be working within a very specialist division where the purpose of the role is to be responsible for undertaking multi-skilled duties that will contribute to the success of a key piece of safety equipment.
Key to this role is the ability to work with chemicals and explosive materials, have a keen eye for detail and health and safety practices, For this we are open to people with a range of experience aslong as it is within similar manufacturing environments that require working to drawings, weighing, measuring and being able to track what has been utilised, incorrect volumes can have a dangerous effect!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled assembly operatives who want to develop a career and work within an industry that will allow you to grow, learn interesting skills and ultimately assembly products that save lives!
Responsibilities and experience:
Basic production / manufacturing experience gained from operating in a similar manufacturing environmentHandle chemicals and explosive materials, goods and components carefully.Accurately interpret assembly drawings and production documents so that Part Numbers, Drawing Issues, Working Practices and Batches are Identified and recorded correctly.Assemble accurately, to required tolerances.Using appropriate Weighing Equipment and Tools relevant to specific batches.To undertake self-inspection and quality check of work undertaken.Updating SAP in order that work in progress is accurately recorded at all times.Basic understanding and interpretation of engineering drawingsBasic grounding in H&S policies and proceduresCan work under pressure to balance competing job priorities to agreed deadlines.
