Project Manager - InfoSec & Automation Projects (Europe)

Location: Poland OR Netherlands OR Portugal OR Germany OR Romania
Contract: 12 months + possible extension

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead Information Security (InfoSec) vulnerability projects across automated logistics facilities in Europe.

ResponsibilitiesManage InfoSec remediation projects within Operational Technology (OT) environments.Coordinate with engineering teams, automation vendors and cybersecurity specialists.Track vulnerabilities and remediation activities across servers, PLCs, IPCs, APUs and industrial software.Manage project plans, risks, stakeholders and project delivery.RequirementsProven Project Management experience within logistics, automation or industrial environments.Good understanding of OT/automation systems and cybersecurity concepts.Familiarity with major warehouse automation/sortation vendors is desirable.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Fluent English and willingness to travel occasionally across Europe.

Description

As an Onsite Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full execution of automation projects, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and scope compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience while being on the customer site everyday. You'll work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, field superintendents, installers, subcontractors, and customers, managing projects from kickoff through completion with a high level of autonomy and accountability.

Location: All over the U.S.

Travel: This position will travel from project to project. Staying in one place 6 months at a time.

What You'll Do

Own project execution including scope, budget, schedule, and safetyDevelop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedulesOversee project financials including invoicing, change orders, purchase orders, and subcontractsLead regular project status meetings with internal teams and customersCoordinate construction, field engineering, and site material managementAct as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultantsTravel regularly to project sites to monitor progress and support field teamsChampion site safety and compliance, resolving issues proactivelyResolve technical, schedule, and customer issues in partnership with Engineering and ManufacturingProvide weekly project status reports covering budget, schedule, quality, and safetyServe as an ambassador for Aegis, building trust and long-term customer relationships

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or higher)PMP (preferred)5+ years of experience in material handling, distribution, or automation projects (preferred)Proven experience managing projects, teams, or focused work groupsStrong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience working directly with customers and subcontractorsAbility to read and interpret 2D and 3D construction drawingsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD or similar toolsWillingness and ability to travel to project sites across the U.S.Valid driver's license

Our client seeking an experienced Program Manager to join a leading Airport Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) consultancy. This career-track opportunity is designed for an individual ready to commit to a long-term professional future within a growing team, acting as the critical link between project execution and owner expectations.

The Program Manager oversees large-scale integration programs encompassing Baggage Handling Systems and Airport Ground Support Equipment. Acting as a leading owner's authorized representative, this role ensures all technical, operational, and financial objectives are met from design through final commissioning. The successful candidate will coordinate extensively between airport authorities, general contractors, system installers, and internal stakeholders to guarantee seamless integration and operational readiness within active terminal environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Acts as the primary owner's authorized representative for the complete lifecycle of complex BHS integration programs
* Directs multiple project managers and technical teams within the division to ensure cohesive and standardized program delivery
* Facilitates direct communication between airport stakeholders, general contractors, and local authorities to maintain alignment on schedule and scope
* Evaluates contractor submittals, testing procedures, and progress against baseline schedules to mitigate risks and resolve technical conflicts early
* Conducts regular site inspections to verify that all mechanical and electrical installations comply with approved design documents and safety standards
* Leads operational readiness and transfer activities to bridge the gap between construction phases and active airport operations
* Manages overarching program budgets and reviews contractor payment applications to ensure financial compliance and accurate cost reporting

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Demonstrates extensive leadership and oversight experience specific to aviation infrastructure and material handling programs
* Possesses deep technical knowledge of sortation matrices, automated logistics, and passenger boarding bridge operations
* Exhibits strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage relationships with large-scale contractors
* Communicates complex engineering and integration details clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership
* Maintains a comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations, TSA security standards, and OSHA safety guidelines relevant to airport environments
* Accommodates frequent travel to various airport project sites as program and client demands dictate

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a closely related technical field
* Minimum of ten years of progressive experience managing aviation infrastructure, automated logistics, or material handling programs
* Proven track record acting specifically as an owner's representative or in a dedicated consultant capacity on major airport capital programs
* Project Management Professional certification is highly preferred and recommended for this level of oversight
